Got an email from PSA, my Jakl upper is being shipped out with the new updated sled and charging handle. Looking forward forward to testing it out. Has anyone else already gotten the updated sled/charging handle, has the design changed or just machined better?
Got my sled and CH today. Yes, there is more material on the sled base and with a better cut slot, the charging handle is slightly thinner in the neck to accommodate this. Hope this helps.
Got my RMA Jakl upper back today, and the sled and CH are so much better.
I hate to inform all- I received a PSA JAKL 10.5 upper yesterday. The charging handles was stuck halfway down its track. Even with the bolt and spring out the bolt would not budge. After about 45m I managed to get it loose. However it got stuck again and the bolt could not go into battery. Im sure plenty of people have gotten lucky but if psa is willing to ship something like this I dont think they can be trusted- they also would not even converse with me yesterday. Good luck- I am not taking the risk.

Its already in the mail on the way back to PSA now. Got the return label a few hours ago.

second, im sorry you have an issue with your dagger. I know though that since youve already spoken with customer service and gotten a return label that they will take care of your issue without any delays and have you up and running in no time. You will love the jakl, as i love my 10.5 as well. Sometimes things get beaten up in shipping, I know that PSA would not intentionally ship anything damaged, but i do also know they have an excellent lifetime warranty on all psa manufactured parts so you have nothing to worry about. Your initial post tone, was pretty negative, even though you had already spoken with customer service, and sent it back before we could even ask for photos for us here to help, i am wondering why you left that part out of the initial post? I hope in the future you have better luck when having things delivered, and i hope you know that this one issue is no reason to hold everything against psa at this time. I assure you, they can be trusted, as you are going to find out when you get it back.
The initial comment was negative for a reason, I may had been willing to take a chance on the JAKL… had customer service not intentionally attempted to ignore me. Unfortunately, they are still trying to ignore me on returning the lower that still has not been transferred to after many attempts to contact them and making a BBB claim. It’s one thing to have a flaw before even trying the weapon, is an entirely different story when you pay for crap and customer service is also a pain. For the price, the Jakl is not on par with a DI gun of the same price and 100% not on par with PWS or even a ruger piston gun produced over 10 years ago. After this experience I will never buy from PSA ever again. I have never had a negative interaction with customer service from Daniel Defense, PWS, BCM, CZ, Ruger, or even HK.
the negativity would have been understandable, if you had not gotten any action or recourse by PSA to send you a rma and to have you ship the Jakl back. Since you did, your negativity came off more like whining and instead of a negative light as an adult it came across as you just simply whining for no good reason really.

what is this about a lower that has not been transferred? i had thought your issue was to do with a Jakl upper that had a stuck charging handle?
Is this a second issue? If so what is this issue about? transferred to you would be your ffl as long as it was shipped to them not PSA’s fault otherwise,.
So you got on the forum to spit fire and brimstone about how bad they are, and gave negative bbb feedback , after they sent you an rmr for your jakl upper and you had sent it back, and then had a second issue that you failed to mention the first time when you complained on the forums.?
this is all very confusing so you’ll see im trying to understand it the best i can by using punctuation, and different paragraphs and what not. and trust me i am not the best writer there is, but i do think i can usually express my thoughts in a clear and concise way so forgive me if it is hard to understand what i’m asking…
how do you know what the Jakl is on par with, if you had to send yours back before you ever got to shoot it? granted it is an issue that it was damaged, be it in shipping or whatever else could have been the reason it was damaged, but you dont have it, havent shot it, and yet here you are saying that its not on the same level as other guns that you probably dont own, or havent tried either.
All that to say, please explain to us the problem(s) you have with a lower that needed to be dealt with still? I’m sorry that you feel that you have to make such dramatic declarations such as never will purchase from PSA again. I hate to see good americans missing out on some of the best kit money can buy.

Look dude, I did not once ask you for help. PSA has told me they will contact me everyday for a week now and dont- despite me trying to contact them. Day one the refused to speak to me at all. “The best money can buy” is a joke… heck BCM is the same price and in many cases cheaper.
And see, that is a much better factual post…had you posted that, you wouldn’t be silenced. But since you decided to take a ride on the crazy train…well, don’t be surprised at the station you land at. Enjoy a few days off.
And for the record, this wasn’t because you criticized PSA. You attacked another member of the forum, which is not ok and we do not tolerate.
I will admit it can be hard to get ahold of a person in a quick manner for cs sometimes , as far as psa… but I’ve rarely had to even use the cs let alone have I ever actually had a problem with it… in years…
When I first got my JAKL, I too had issues with the sled getting stuck. After disassembling/assembling several times, I found it was my own fault not getting it into the track correctly
That really helped! A little grease on the top of the sled and on the rails also made life a lot easier. I’m guessing it’s a little “AK-ish” (I don’t have an AK) and the whole design was greek-to-me; however, it is definitely one of my favorites now.
