There has been a small handful of customers that have had an issue with the sled on their Jakl. PSA has updated the sled and charging handle and should have the updated ones available in about a week or so. All new production Jakl’s will ship with the new sled & charging handle.
If anyone needs a replacement sled & charging handle because they are having an issue or simply want the updated version, you can email jamin@palmettostatearmory.com and PSA will send you one. Please include your order number in the email.
This is a very simple and quick fix and is compatible with the current receiver. ETA- it will take 7 to 10 days to send the sled after you email

Received the updated sled and charging handle today. The new sled has more material, and the charging handle is just slightly thinner in the neck area. The old and new sled and charging handle look similar to the naked eye, so be careful not to get them mixed up! Works perfect, thanks Jamin and PSA.
Received my RMA upper with the new sled and CH. So much better, way more material on the bottom side of the sled and the cutout for the CH is perfect to were it pretty much drops into place ( right or left side with ease no more fighting or having to jam it in). Racking the bolt is much smoother as the CH/sled is no longer rubbing the inside channel. Excellent Job PSA, for taking the feedback from a small number of us and correcting this issue and improving the quality.
