Jakl feeding issue

Sighted my Jakl in… cleaned it. Now it is cycling but not grabbing the next round out of the magazine. :man_shrugging:t2:

Have you tried adjusting the gas block to give more gas? It might not be going back far enough to get the next bullet. Be sure to mention caliber, bullet grains, barrel length, suppressor/none, and current gas settings to give the experts more clues

5.56…55g and 77gr OTM. 10.5 in barrel. Cycled good with the 77g. Gas block has not. Been adjusted from the factory or from when it was sighted in and functioned fine. 55g would not cycle. It would eject the spent round but not grab the next.

Most report that a break-in period is needed 500+ rounds. If It were my gun I would disassemble and polish all working surfaces areas, especially the feed ramp using my Dremel polishing wheel and polishing compound. Always worked for me. However, firearms other that cleaning and oiling should run 99% out of the box.

It was the gas block…It will cycle .223 on the first setting…5.56 on the second setting.

Well good for you if you resolved it.
