Searched: FTF new 5.56 16” JAKL

Good evening gents!

I searched and didn’t find anything on the 16” un-suppressed that seemed to line up.

Brand new 16” 5.56. Shot it for the first time today.

I was having feed issues. Mainly failure to feed with rounds getting stuck on the feed ramp. This is my first ever adjustable gas gun. So I am not sure if it’s overgassed or it’s just a mag issue.

I used various different p-mags and had the same results. Occasionally it would cycle 2-3 times.

In the moment I never thought about it being over gassed so I never tried a gas position just before wide open. I just assumed it was under gassed at first. But I suppose I should have realized that wasn’t it considering the bolt was picking the next round.

I was shooting Winchester green tips if that matters.

I’m going to try dialing the gas block back one by one, but, I wanted to see if anyone here had a similar experience? I have had zero issues with all of my PSA guns. I have ran 1000’s of rounds through my 16” at and 100’s through my 10.5” and this gun has literally had my first ever malfunction with PSA

thanks for having me and thanks in advance for any ideas.

And then I see the pinned post at the top :man_facepalming: idk how I missed that.

The video does not really say anything about being over gassed un-suppressed but I also DID NOT follow these instructions.

Mainly because I didn’t know they existed :joy:

Welcome aboard.

Ammo is not all the same and therefore over gassing or under gassing can happen, not only on jakls but also on ARs. Adjust the gas block and report back.

Adjusted the gas block. We are good to go.

I feel so stupid
