hello just received my 13.7 jakl upper with the 8 position gas block looking at the muzzle end (upper is not on the lower) is the wide open position is the knob rotated to the left or right

I Have the same issue, nothing in manual pictures, discusses the new 8 position gas block, no clue how to adjust, what the different settings are or how to remove to clean etc. Le me know if you find out
