Thinking about upgrading my trigger- anyone here have any good or bad experiences with Geissele? I have their SSA-E in my .308, was looking to put this one in my -47.
I only use G triggers. LaRue makes a good trigger also, i just dont like the feel of it. Probably because im so used to G triggers.
My preference is the flat faced version of the SSA.
I havent used the SSP, but for single stage i would recommend the ALG ACT. It too is made by Giessele.

Seems like a much stiffer trigger pull than the SSP M4 . I’d have a primarily hunting application, followed by plinking, followed by home defense. I wanted to like a flat-faced trigger, but never really clicked with one. But I’m also a Baptist, and you know how much we hate change…
Bill did a great video years ago on which trigger goes with which application. You probably can find it on youtube. For hunting i use an ssa-e. For home defense, ssa. The slightly heavier trigger gives that split second decision making a little longer to work.

Well…I’m a cop. The booger hooker stays off the bang button until I’m ready to use it, lol.

I have a Geissele ssa-e installed in my ks47 & all my ARs. No issues. Works great!
