I just recently got a liberty anthem s2 suppressor. I’m tryna to figure out if I can get away with just changing the buffer tube and spring without getting an agb. Lmk what yall have done with your suppressed ks47 setups.
You certainly change just the buffer and spring. Shoot it first and see what it does wit various ammo.

What do you currently have in it? I normally start suppressed with h2 buffers and a carbine spring.
I left the stock buffer tube and spring it came with. I was looking at the geissele 42 braided wire spring and the h2 buffer. Just wanted to see what people are running with there ks47 when suppressed.
A tube is just a tube. You mean you left the stock buffer?
Try it with stock before upgrading.
I use a no/low back pressure HUXWRX 7.62 on mine- zero issues with feeding/extracting, no changes needed with the buffer or gas block.
I run the Super 42 and H2 buffer setup on just a regular AR platform and really like it.

as GuitarGuy has stated you shouldnt have to mess with the buffer tube at all .. just the buffer and spring inside.
My Gen 1 KS47 franken SBR was way, way over gassed even unsuppressed. It would cycle so quickly it would outrun magazine rise (meaning the BCG was cycling faster than the next round could rise into position to be stripped). I actually tried both Superlative and SLR AGBs I had on hand (I put AGBs on pretty much all AR-pattern builds), but the inlet gas port on the AGB itself was so undersized compared to the honkin’ big gas port on the barrel that even at full gas it was now undergassed. Bother.
So back to a standard block (an integrated block for this build) and dropped in a Wolf Extra Power buffer spring and H2 buffer and it runs just peachy both suppressed and unsuppressed.
