Dad wants a laser for his m&p shield 9. I know nothing about them and have never used one. Any recommendations or info would be helpful. Thanks.
Not much help, but my 2.0 came with the integrated Crimson Trace. I haven’t used it a whole heck of a lot, but S&W did buy Crimson a few years back. Because of that I would imagine they’re among if not the best ergonomically for a Shield or any S&W.

I was kinda curious too, seems like the ArmaLaser and Streamlights are well reviewed (granted everywhere I read that were on blog type sites with Amazon referrals).
Streamlight TLR-6. Laser light combo. I have ran one on my shield on and off for years and wouldn’t recommend anything else. Also, a lot of holster companies dont make a light bearing holster for the shield with other lights, mostly because there aren’t many that work with the 1st generation Shield.
Just make sure you get that model 69273 and upc 080926-69273-2. They have a bunch of variations for different firearms, and the other one that is for the Shield is just the light.
Streamlight is the way to go.
It’ll only lead to Frikkin’ Disaster…
