I figured I’d just put this out there. I know the topic of the loose front sight has come up. It has happened to mine now also. Not a problem, I have the Wheeler Glock sight tool and loctite. Easy fix. But now the screw end on the guide rod has come loose. I fortunately noticed it while I was clearing my weapon at the range and have yet to loctite it in position. Would have been a pain in the butt if it got launched at the range. Just a heads up to check parts that might come loose at times.
Unfortunately thats normal. Had both those issues on multiple Daggers
We need a how to that addresses all of the daggers issues and fixes to them in one thread so everyone can just go down the list and fix everything
I just finished loctiting that in place. I only had blue so I hope that’ll do. I found that the guide rod screw had a good bit of red loctite on it but it flaked right off. Maybe the parts weren’t cleaned properly before assembly. I degreased them good and dried them before assembling. I’ll see how long that lasts.
maybe a pinned sub forum for trouble shooting?
Like take total data of every post made saying this happened or that happened and just make one thorough troubleshooting post addressing all the big issues like your sight issue, trigger issues, mag drop issues…etc
I wonder if a thread like that would be too difficult to navigate. You would never find anything once it gets buried. A trouble shooting sub forum though, with each thread specific to the issue would be easy to follow but would need to be moderated so people don’t turn a how-to-fix thread into a long discussion and going off on tangents.
Thats what i meant. Make it to where it addresses each topic individually and fixes to each and not allow anyone to post on them
well if you guys or Matt or someone makes a post that is a great topic of the issues / fixes for the dagger im sure we can pin it as a permanent post…
It would definitely be beneficial and cut down on alot of same/similar threads
Not really looking for a pinned post. More like a sub forum. Then you can move the several threads that we already have about fixing things into it. That would be a start. It would probably grow from there.
ok. lets see what @sean.psa says. Sean? thoughts?
It would just help alot of these new guys coming in that have the " i think i have a part thats bent" or " my mags dropping out after 100 rounds" or whatever the case may be they can be guided to that subthread…i think it would really help plus take some of the load off answering the same questions or having threads posted all over about the same issues
Any ideas on what we should call it? @OEFCMBTVET ? @mattbbb14 ( In regards to a sub category for dagger “troubleshooting or common issues”)
Dagger Troubleshooting and FAQ?
Sounds great. Maybe move my FAQ post over there as well.
Ok, so it looks like we are at a limitation of the current forum build. I can not nest a sub category under a sub category.
I can however enable post tagging ( i.e - #troubleshooting, #faq, #dagger… etc) This way we could filter some of this stuff.
The other way (or in addition) would be as a community, archiving the posts and updating the main wiki on the platform.
Sample of how tags will show up.

I am going to make another post about tagging so I dont hi-jack this one.
Sounds good to me sir
Could be called quick dagger fixes or On the Bench: Dagger problems addressed
