Saw it introduced at SHOT Show this year, intro video posted by arf.com, then……crickets. Anyone seen one in the wild? Looks interesting but I’m hesitant to buy without seeing one actually being shot.
SHOT is like the annual Detroit Auto Shows. Lots of concepts to guage interest. Things shown at SHOT could take years to make, or not be made at all.

It’s already on their website, I just thought it was odd that there’s zero chatter on youtube about it when it’s been out for months?
As of February, it was still a 3d imaged concept according to this. Is it actually in stock anywhere (i havent looked) other than their website (i.e. are they actually building/distributing or just advertising)?

the mat9 kinda makes me think of Jakl 9 mm… maybe that will happen with PSA eventually who knows.
that video showed the CMMG 5.7 and I ant PSA to make a Jakl like that for sure… i really want more offers in the bullpup/carbine field for the 5.7 round

i know right… ive been saying that since the jakl came out… do it in 5.7x28 and im soooo there.
I ended up getting a MAT-9 upper from Ranier Arms. Ordered a gray one, when it arrived it said gray on the box but the paper wrapping inside had blue written on it. I was going to Cerakote a lower in a similar color so I emailed Matador Arms to see what it was coated with and if I could get a mix number. They emailed back right away, their response was this:
“Hey Stephen,
You got the ole unicorn ha-ha. That blue run was accidental and shouldn’t have been put in a gray box… I have been waiting to hear back on this one lol. As for the coating it is an anodized gray that was left in to long. You will have to take it to a cerakote guy and have him match it as its not possible to replicate it really.”
I thought the color looked different than the photos of the gray ones online, I guess now I know why! Lol
I put it with a black receiver for now and ordered a few bottles of Cerakote to try to blend a color.

it looks pretty neat that color. if you can get one thats close to it to match the color for the other parts itll be pretty awesome.
I like a color mix vice one. Just me.
