NADATURKEY Rifle Build, 50 Shades of Gray

So this begins the journey of my first AR build, on the NADATURKEY stripped lower I won back in November.

Parts have started coming in, and I still have a bit left to order.

But here we go…

My first task was finding a cost effective paint that’s close to Magpul Stealth Gray. I did that this morning.

I think I did pretty good…I’m not looking for perfect, but I want as close as possible without breaking the bank. I used a heat gun in 26° temps for this mediocre result. I think I can do better using our oven on Proof Setting when my wife isn’t around, which is roughly 90° and used for bread dough to rise.

And to finish, Good Sir, may I suggest a snifter of Grey Goose vodka, to do otherwise would simply be uncivilized…

That Keystone looks sharp

Its a home built on Geissele receivers and parts.

I would have loved to been able to get one of their Hungarian Moonshine rifles…

The count still throws stuff out every now and then. I like their rails, but have heard mixed reviews on their barrels. A receiver is a receiver IMO. I got the gray because no one else was doing gray at the time and I could also get the rail.

With their site update i can’t find his castle anymore.

I would like a green lower and fill the Keystone in red for the 28th aka the Bloody Bucket
