This weekās āBIGā thing is finally here: Introducing the āCompact Xā slide from PSA! This is a compact longslide compatible with both the Compact & Full Size-Short Dagger frames. Pictured in this configuration as the āPSA Dagger Full Size - SXā, this is an RMR Extreme Carry Cut (rear sight rear) Compact X slide. I know many of you have been looking forward to a full length slide for some time. Letās hear what you think! The slide should hopefully be available in the coming days. Iāll update groups prior to the launch.
Iām saying āshouldā because the locking lugs on gen 5 g17 barrels are the same as the 19L barrel that will be paired with the Compact X slide from PSA. In the same way that PSA doesnāt guarantee all g19 barrels will work/function in the compact Dagger slides. There are tolerances from one barrel manufacturer to another, as such no guarantee can be provided. But as you can tell, many people (myself included) run aftermarket barrels in their Dagger without issue.
Any idea what the timeline looks like? Hearing āin the coming daysā, given the delays weāve had all the way through with all-things āDaggerā, feels like it might be next summer before we can order one.
Iām curious as to what the barrel length is now. And if we would get any lightning cuts eventually or anything? If you happen to know. I will be picking one up along with a full s frame
Not to keep beating a horse, but I donāt know how āproduct releases ā go as far as timeline. Will the potential new micro dagger be announced here or go on the PSA main site for sale first? Iām 100% serious about ordering one the moment they are available.

This, finally this, itās so much yes! Itās a perfect addition to PSAās Dagger lineup, fills a niche that no one else is addressing & doing it beautifully.
For me, this is a must have, to fill a roll, that many identified a need for, quite some time ago, but not been able to find, or at least find in a solid / well thought out & avaliable, complete product.
Iām very excited to know Iāll finally be able to get my hands on this & start getting a feel for it in action.
Correct, the X slide is a 19L equivalent. As another bit of trivia, the X slide on a Full Size S Dagger frame, would basically be the Dagger version of a Glock 47.
