Hello all. I’m pretty sure I know the answer to this but figured it can’t hurt to ask people who know more than I do. I have a beautiful new PSA 15 kit build. I’ve only put about 50 rounds through it at the most and I’m seeing a little bit of gas come out where the gas port meets the gas tube. It’s not much. It cycles 556 beautifully but intermittently won’t cycle 223. I am going to guess that tube is going to seal up over time on its own and hopefully when it gets that pressure back after sealing itself it will cycle 223 better? Any input would be appreciated !

@Goose246 you are correct in that it will seal itself. 223 is not as hot as 556 so that may be the cycling issue. What does the barrel say “5.56”, "556 wylde ", etc.

It says 5.56. Once it seals itself would that help to cycle the 223 better?
Thanks

I’m fairly certain the 223 was PMC bronze anyway which I am pretty sure is about as weak as 223 gets

Yes, let it seal and try again. I usually don’t see things settle in until about 100 rounds or so.
