Nextorch WL11

So the guys at my LGS (which is also a PSA distributor) showed me a new(ish) brand of light called Nextorch. The WL11 is the full-size TLR-1HL/X300U equivalent. My guys told me that there were some police departments that were starting to go with these lights.

This is from their website, so obviously, as in all such instances, I take it with a grain of Kosher salt (meaning a bigger than normal grain):

“As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of portable lighting products, batons, and law enforcement accessories, Nextorch has established itself as The Professional’s Edge.”

My guys at the LGS also told me this particular model was compatible with TLR-1HL or Surefire X300 holsters.

Have any of you heard of/used this/these lights? If so, what do you think? Or should I just spend the extra $30-$45 for a Streamlight TLR-1HL?

Every new flashlight brand is the next big thing…but streamlight and surefire have been there, done that. I like streamlight because you get a quality light without tye surefire/arisaka/modlight price.

LOL! I have a drawer full of flashlights and stuff I get on the internet that they call the latest and greatest! Always seems to be worth it at the time even if I have a half dozen just like it! Heck, just 5 minutes ago I bought a super cool doughboy type knife from Tactical S**t that I’m pretty sure I absolutely needed!

I just said eff it & got a TLR-1HL. I figured its going on my new primary EDC (Shadow Systems MR920P) & if its gonna be on the gun I’m gonna be carrying on a regular basis to protect myself, & possibly others, I don’t wanna be an unwitting beta testing subject for a Streamlight wannabe brand.
