His post sounds like a politician complaining about a non issue. Like PSA CS not being in the US and WV tax. If you read the WV law it sounds like it only applies to sales made within the state and anything firearms related bought outside of WV is subject to tax. There hasnā€™t been any clarification about where the product is shipped from that Iā€™ve found since it was passed. I can see why PSA charges it with the lack of clarification. Imagine them not charging it then having to pay it down the line. Also itā€™s hard to hide behind a username when you keep your full name on your profile. Conveniently itā€™s the same as a WVā€™s state representativeā€™s.

A majority of states require that we collect tax and remit to them, including WV. They do exclude ammo and firearms now. It is easier said than done to exclude certain skuā€™s from being taxed. It is something we are looking into. In the meantime, just like @BadgerPowder said, just PM me your order number once you do order and I will refund the sales tax.

Also, please change your username before I do.

Another hillbilly that likes PSA products and salutes your business practices. Always had good service and never got a bad product from you guys. And for the very little money on your lower budget uppers, the groups they hold are fantastic. Keep up the good work. Some of us are thankfulā€¦

@Josiah_PSA I have a recent order for an AKV in WV for which I was charged sales tax. After contacting customer service about this twice to no avail, I found this thread. Iā€™d like to send you a PM about this, but I canā€™t figure out how to do itā€“not sure if thatā€™s because I just created my account here.

Itā€™s been the Thanksgiving Holiday weekendā€¦just relax, they will help. Furthermore, it will take a day or two for your bank/CC to post the credit.

Refunds normally take up to 5-7 business days to process all the way through. With the holiday weekend it screws that up just a little. If you dont have it in the next few days, let us know and we will reach out to our finance department and figure out what is happening.
