Ok, we’ll, what’s weird is at first it was running fine with no hesitation then out of no where it started acting up

GG recommended that to me as well. It’s been flawless ever since, except for those cheap arse mags I tried to save money with.

I could add some more. I just picked it up not but a week or two ago. My buddy (gun store owner) said it should be ready to go
See how far back the bolt will go. Stick your finger through the port door and push it back. It may be overtraveling also.

PapaBear, is the trigger fully resetting after each shot?

I would checked free-travel first, like GG suggested. Barring any issues - if you’ve got an “extra power” or AR-10 spring in there, try a standard carbine spring.

I don’t think the trigger is resetting. GG lead me to adding a spacer which imma give a try! To much travel

I have 11 quarters in there. Think 12 may be the ticket tho. I did three rounds to check and the last was a slight hang up but didn’t require a “recharge” so I think problem solved

nice rig @MichaelAnthony . Thats a colt mag setup lower isnt it? what made you go colt instead of glock mag?

oh my bad, usually i can tell with the angle, but this one illuded me. I too have a AR9 in glock and love it.

I’ve only run a magazine through it and that’s been 1.5-2 years ago.
I’ll probably start with a dot and magnifier.

i figured id find a photo or two of my AR9 now tooo… lemme see here…Ah yes, this is my PCC 9 that PSA gifted to me when i got sick with cancer, its a pretty awesome build they even hydrodipped the hardware for me in the block C of Carolina!!! I added the red parts from Strike Industries after taking possession of the Carbine. The barrel is what is really awesome. its a 16" barrel thats stainless steel wrapped in red and black carbon fiber.
and then theres this little ugly thing i built as i wanted an ar9 pistol tooo… I did it in black and OD green furniture. Which is a sba3 brace, with a odgreen magpul moe grip, and magpul m-lok panels, along with magpul hand stop in od green. I used Knights armament flip up backup sights, the sig romeo5 red dot and its natural riser that comes with it, and then i used the wise men company’s Splitfix in Kyrptech highlander pattern, along with their 2 p oint sling in Kyrptech Highlander pattern as well. it shoots pretty great, but i think i like my ar-v better than this ar9 pistol .
