nothing cerakote the way i really wish they could be… i am currently rebuilding my 16” pcc above as well as possible, that’s the thing missing on my favorite boom sticks…

I was just looking up when I bought mine and it was December 2021.
And I have $600 in this plain Jane rascal.
I think I remember it jamming 
but not a 100% sure, but that would explain it being buried deep in the back.

Technically an AR9, but without the dedicated lower for flexibility. Ghost Gun lower, 4” upper with .75” Hughes Precision barrel extension and SI Cookie Cutter comp machined for 9mm by myself, in a lathe, SI lower ambi controls, Endomag inserts in Gen 2 PMAGs, Armaspec SMB 9.88oz 9mm buffer, SBA 3, Romeo 5

Have you looked at the Holosun SCRS MRS? I picked one up for a new PCC build. 20mm, very sleek. NO battery to change though. Built in rechargeable and a solar panel. Selectable dot/circle. Going to mount it with a 3x Holosun magnifier. A mini Juliet 3 would be even more compact. Not really a fan of the included pic rail mount, I think it looks like a mailbox post but I’ll work with it. Optic has a 509T mount so many options available if I really can’t stand the look. ) $269 at PSA for red or +$30 for green.

Vortex Spitfire II Prismatic(replace Swampfox) - really great
The PSA Upper mates perfectly to the Spikes lower, you will need to adjust and bend the LRBHO wire that touches the mag follower till it puts the right amount of tension on the mag follower, once I did that no issues with Glock OEM or Pmags.
I use it for NRA ARC and Outlaw Steel Challenge

Nice looking gun. Please excuse my ignertness, but…I never heard of endomag inserts. So what happens if someone accidently throws a loaded 223 mag in there? I assume it just can’t go into battery? Or will the mag just not seat into the magwell due to the adapter?
I have built several AR’s now, 223/.300, rifle, pistol etc, but not yet ventured to the 9mm, but hell why not?
Also…am I the only one who realizes the curved mag version looks better? Where are all you bent stick boys?

Due to the length of .223/5.56 vs 9mm, I’m not sure it would pick up a round.
If it did, due to the smaller diameter, I think if even it did feed correctly, it would end up loose in the barrel. Point it down, the round would likely just drop to the ground…

A .223/5.56 case will not go through a 9mm barrel, likely just end up in a pretty bad jam. Just speculation on my part I don’t have an endomag but I did check a 5.56 round in a Dagger barrel as I was curious.

Okay, yeah I figured. I like the look - certainly looks better with the full size mag compared to the 9mm mags
I think about different things like that as well. On a side note I thought about it with a Glock G44 with a G19 mag and yes both will lock in either. Haven’t had the guts to try and rack it with the wrong ones installed in either though in either.

That’s why I built what I did instead of a dedicated 9mm lower. Couldn’t get past the look of sticks mags. Nor do I own any Colt or Glock mags
And to answer the other part of your question, any AR mag will fit. But this is my only white AR, and everyone that will have access to it, knows without a doubt that it’s 9mm
