They sell legal NFA machine guns but the Fightlite MCR is NOT a machine gun, NO tax stamp is required, its simply an upper. You can email them but other website also sell the upper for the same price.
Gotcha⌠ok thank you again for the clarification. Much appreciated ![]()
When you get an bogus demand like that, where some dumbass demands that you turn your confidential tax paperwork over to them, itâs time to tell the merchant to go pound sand.
If youâre not transferring a registered receiver then no forms are required. Period.
Your transfer forms are confidential tax documents and as explained in the CFR you are required to show them to an agent of the US Treasury Department, but the law requires you to show them to nobody else. Technically your local police are not even allowed to demand that you produce a Federal tax return (tax stamp) for their inspection â only the Treasury Department can examine your Federal tax return. The proper procedure for local police is to do a trace on the weapon by serial number, model name, and NFA manufacturer name/city/state using their radio or the PC in their car. They can get an instant computer lookup in real time. They know to check the registry directly because transfer forms can be faked and tax returns (transfer forms with stamps) are commonly xeroxed by NFA owners rather than carrying original tax forms into the field.
Iâve had Treasury department officers photograph my guns during compliance checks. They have confirmed that nobody else is entitled to inspect the transfer forms.
That was in reference to their other NFA items, your dealer would need to provide their FFL info and licenses to receive NFA items. The Fightlite MCR is not a NFA item so would not apply, they would send it right to your house. There is other websites that sell it for the same price also.
Thx agn gents
Ok other question⌠do belt feeds like this MCR shoot technically faster (other things equal) since they are belt fed vs mag fed? Given the physics of the operation⌠Is there a difference? I ask b/c if one wants to have fun thrownâ rounds down range, does it justify spending roughly $6k vs about $2k for a nice FN (or whatever) w/ a Geissele SSA trigger & a pmag-60? Iâm guessing not much of a diff to justify⌠??
No, its just an upper, has nothing to do with rate of fire. Just looks cool, only advantage is with belted ammo you can shoot more moneyâŚlol Ton of great YouTube videos on it, for most people the cost isnât worth it, just one of those 2A flexâs to have something cool that no one else has.
that makes sense⌠![]()
Donât have the belt fed, but your description FIT my recent range trip with my 7.62 upper and franklin trigger perfectly.
Spray and pay!
This would be an absolute dream, especially with frtâs finding common use!
I know the H&R lineup has an LMG upper in developmentâŚwhether or not it actually comes to production is another story. If they were to make a belt-fed upper, my money would be on H&R doing the heavy lifting and having their name stamped on it.
So now that ShotSHow is over⌠I wonder is there was a insight/rumors as to whether or PSA might go down this ally? I think if they offered a belt-fed upper for around $3k theyâd do very well. Also, to another gents point, I wonder if there is any update regarding the H&R exploring this product as well? ![]()
PSA knows their customer base. No reason to spend a lot of money developing a belt fed when the majority of their base probably wont buy it.
As much as I would like to say âinâ for one, when they posted the 2025 survey and I saw that 50cal Barrett clone, my first reaction was, âoh hell yeahâ; then I thought⌠âreally, whoâs going to actually PAY for one if they make it?â
Maybe down the line when PSA becomes more recognized as the PREMIER brand more than the BUDGET FRIENDLY brand, weâll see those products. The Sabre line is a majority positive step in that exact direction.
So maybe the answer isnât ânoâ, maybe itâs ânot nowâ.
Take a look here.
They also have a duel feed lowered that uses the 249 nut sacks. I have the receiver and am waiting for the upper to arrive.
