Anyone else think PSA should release a competitor to the Fightlite MCR Belt Feed Upper. I love the MCR but at $6,000-$7,000 that is a steep price for that kinda fun. If PSA released a $2,500-$4,000 version I think they would be back ordered for months!
I’ll second that, as long as it’s got a heavy barrel, chromed and they keep it under $4k I would absolutely 100% purchase one. Just to be able to slap an FRT trigger or Fostech 2.0 or Franklin BFIII maybe even a 3MR and head out to my local range and just waste through hundreds of dollars of ammunition. Is that realistic? What’s the point in not aiming and just spraying rounds downrange and praying they hit “something”? Because AMERICA! And because I dare ANYONE out there to head to the range and NOT smile while blasting off on a belt fed rifle ![]()
Ive been on the fence for 1-2 years about the MCR, I have the money but can’t justify the purchase in my head, but at 1/2 the cost… TAKE MY MONEY!

The Fightlite MCR has been on the market for years, but its cost prohibitive at $6k-$7k, and links are cheap, most place 200 reusable links for $19. Not everyone shots at a range, I shoot on private property because it’s more enjoyable. From everything PSA has achieved since they started I am confident they can build the system, and build it cheaper to allow more budget mind customer to enjoy it. Fightlite is the only company on the market with a belt feed upper so they have a monopoly on the market a price, the lowest I have seen them is $5,899. It’s worth them looking into because I know I would buy one in a heartbeat, I would even prepay for it. https://fightlite.com/mcr-060
Dang, a dude from the back of the BUFF! I can imagine you read a lot before they move the fire control to the main crew area. Would love to see some cool pics!

This is really a niche item. While this is something that just about everybody would want to play with, it’s probably something that very few of us would buy.
That said, I’d love to buy one as a SAW upper conversion for an M16.
The Fightlite MCR has been out a few years but being the ONLY belt feed upper on the market they have a monopoly on that item and $6k-$7k to have bragging rights.
Yup still want one! Shot Show is coming up PSA, make this happen Please!
Just saw they are launching a new Historical Battle Rifle Line, starting with the STG-44 which is so awesome!
I will never, ever buy one.
But, I would if I could. ![]()
Howdy,
Curious, where was it that you saw one for $5,899? Thank you…
Lots of websites have it $5,899 but that is the CHEAPEST I have been able to find. FightLite MCR060 Belt Fed Upper, 6th Gen, NIB | DealerNFA
There is a handful of YouTube of guys running the upper with FRT, but since that trigger has been on the naughty list, no one has posted any recent videos.

Thanks again for your helpful reply, I’m currently though just looking for it in the semi-auto version… if you see any of those for a decent deal, please keep me in mind. Thanks ![]()
Thank you! Looking forward to it here:+1:
A upper is just an upper, its meant and sold for semi-automatic use, however if your lucky enough to have a FRT and live in an area that isnt Communist you can have alittle more fun.
Oh… On that link it reads: "It is our company policy that customers provide proof of NFA tax payment before we will ship NFA specific components. Proof of NFA tax payments may be accomplished by providing us with a copy of one of the following documents:
A current signed in ink Federal Firearms License with Special Occupational Tax Stamp (FFL/SOT) or an appropriate BATFE Form (such as Form 1 or Form 4) indicating compliance with federal regulations."
So I just assumed (hate that word:) it was a full-auto specific version and thus was NFA/ required the tax/etc… ![]()
