Psa 223 wylde only likes 50 gr

Ive got a new build with a psa 18" 1 in 7 twist 223 wylde upper.
I was about to give up on it due to terrible groups with everything i tried from 55 to 68 gr match loads. 3-4 moa.
This 1 in 7 should like heavier bullets but it doesn’t. It shoots anything but wont group.
As a last ditch i put in some hornady 50 gr vmax reloads from a couple years ago, a bamm , great sub moa groups. 0.7"
This is the opposite of what it should shoot well.
Whats going on here? Should i keep my 1 ammo tack driver or what ? You can’t just call psa and ask to speak to someone who can answer this. It requires submitting a warranty request and then maybe someone who can answer a question might call back. Most likely they will just tell me to ship it back.

I would just stick with what it likes. Just my $.02.

Im trying to understand why its doing this also. Was the chamber cut wrong or whats causing this ? I realize that i may never be alble to replace a 0.7 moa upper with cheap 50 grain hornady vmax bullets but its just so so bad with anything above 55 grain.

It could have been cut or even mislabeled wrong.
Bullet wise it doesn’t make any sense but I’m not
going to worry with it if I’m getting 0.7 groups.
