Well i mean $300 for a case of 9 is pay high right now. All I’m saying is i can get blazer brass or Fed American Eagle from my local box store for 260 plus tax less if i pay cash.
If i need 300aac though i haven’t found anyone that can beat PSA ‘s pricing not even close so i eat the shipping for it but say if i want anything else? i won’t buy it cause it increases my shipping costs it’s cheaper to buy 9 and 45 locally so their shipping model is costing them prospective sales.
Whereas if I’m ordering some ammo from a company with flat rate shipping I’ll hit up my brother and my buddy and ask them if they need any ammo just put it on my order and save shipping costs start an ammo grocery list lol
i get it, i have to honestly say i just don’t like blazer or federal if you would of said like fiocchi then i would walk in and buy it. im picky tho too, tbh i only run 115fmj fiocchi or aac recently love 115 xtp from aac and didnt see a better deal on that quality of a round anywhere

another thing i saw happen was someone bought a bunch of whitebox winchester hp and when i got there to check them out it was all reloads… just turned into some expensive range ammo lol

It would be nice to see the shipped price per round when logged into your account. My quick search jumped $0.06 to $0.09 per round on a few rifle calibers at 10-15 boxes with a $15 or $20 discount.
AAC for the most part is still far less expensive than anything on the shelf locally.
Case in point least expensive .308 off the shelf is $34-36 before tax vs a comparable AAC .308 Sierra Match King BTHP at $19.99 or $23.57 a box for 10 boxes delivered.
I doubt they could do shipped price per round. Combo orders would defeat that algorithm.

Sometimes the best ammo deal at PSA is not on AAC ammo. So grab any and every deal you can afford when you see it, regardless of brand.
Keep in mind that part of the reason AAC ammo exists is because the ammo prices had been climbing, unchecked for a while. As soon as AAC hit the market, the prices of competing ammo companies started dropping, even at PSA. So even if AAC isn’t the best deal every time you buy, just being a part of the market has influenced the average price. Market competition is always good for the consumer.
And yeah, it can be a rarity for AAC ammo to go on sale and have free shipping simultaneously, but i’ve seen PSA run free shipping deals on AmmoInc and Fiocchi ammo. So yeah, you may have to compromise your brand choice from time to time to save some bucks, but that isn’t bad or wrong. I love my AAC ammo, and have plenty of it; but I also have a lot of Blazer, Fiocchi, and S&B, because there was a better deal on those.

I lean towards ammo only purchases between parts orders. More specifically around new load trials for my individual plinkers or piling good deals with free shipping.
At least they aren’t using the absolute worst shipper out there.
