PSA Online order process

Sorry if this has been asked before or is a dumb question but never bought anything from PSA before so not sure how everything works

  1. I currently have 2 separate firearm orders placed both of which have had the respective amounts been taken from the card used (both charges are completed transactions - not on hold or pending charges) does this mean I have the respective firearm “reserved” both orders are for PSA Daggers (one compact and one micro) with the micro seeming to sell out online immediately after I placed my order, just not sure if because of the seemingly immediate sell out after placing my order if I’m “guaranteed” a micro dagger or if they will come back at a later time and say something to the effect of “sorry we had to cancel your order because of a out of stock issue”
  2. Do PSA charge any transfer fees, background check fees, or any fees besides the cost of the gun/shipping/taxes if shipped to a PSA Store as both of my orders are being shipped to my local PSA Store (Myrtle Beach)?
  3. How quick is PSA in updating your order status from processing? Don’t want to irritate any employee by keep calling/emailing/etc…
  4. Is it possible to pickup both firearms at the same time? First order was placed on Feb 14 and the second was placed on Feb 19. Is there any charge to do this especially if one firearm is at the store for a week or two while waiting for the second order to arrive?

If it was in stock and you have an order number then the gun is yours. FFL orders take a little bit longer due to the process.

PSA ships to store on their own truck. You will pay shipping but no transfer fees if you pick up in store.

You will get an email (or should) when your firearm is ready for pickup. Yes, you can wait for both to be delivered and pick up at the same time.

My most recent still showed processing when the gun was ready for pickup. PSA doesnt have their own tracking system for that yet.

Yes I have order numbers as well as order confirmations for both orders as well as both charges for each order are showing as completed transactions (not on hold or pending) according to what I see when I look at my card details.

Don’t remind me about the snow I live in garden city sc and had to drive to work that Thursday night, fortunately the roads where I live weren’t terrible (not great but not terrible) made it there and back fine. Only problem I had is where my unit is the parking lot was all ice for approximately 4-5 days after the snow was over.

Yes especially when whatever you ordered is an expensive item (at least for me) I watch the status like a hawk (for better or worse) .

What does your account page say?

processing usualy means its not shipped yet. however i have seen processing stay that way even though i had already been to my local PSA and picked up the firearm already.

sometimes, i’ll just go up to the store after about 7 or 9 BUSINESS DAYS, (m-f) and find someone on the counter and say i have ordered two guns about 2 weeks ago or so, and i think it may be here so can you go check to see if they are here for pickup? and usually they have no issue going in back and finding them for me right then and there, however there has been a few times ive jumped the gun so to speak, and they havent arrived at the local store yet.
ymmv
