Shipping time

Ordered a ar-15 kit mar 3rd, went back to order ammo and the stripped lower last night and it shipped out today. i was just wonder what the hold up was on the kit?

Also, due to the law change orders from WA were pushed to the front of the line.

So why can’t anyone at least answer the phone or provide answers instead of automated emails? Customer doesn’t seem to help. I just want my gun.

Because people are calling when they dont get their gun in 2 days. PSA does THOUSANDS of orders a day.

Do you work for PSA?

Because what I’m trying to figure out is why my order still says processing when a person sitting next ordered the same time i did and theirs says shipped. I’ve never had an issue with PSA before but this seems odd. By no means do I have an attitude but I just want to know. Everybody I know that has ordered from them within the last week and I seem to be different. The item I ordered said that it was in stock.

Also, I don’t want my gun in two days but i definitely would like to know why it’s still “processing” thank you sir.

I do not work for PSA, just a volunteer moderator here. Customer Service does not have a presence on the forum. PSA utilizes several different warehouses for shipping, including drop shipping (done by most companies now a days). Why your buddy got his? I dont know. A variety of things: could have been dropped shipped from a different warehouse. Could be a state that doesnt have restrictions.

You could have an issue with your FFL on file (not your fault) that is holding up your gun. Your best bet is to call first thing on a business morning (Mond-Friday) and find out.

When and what did you order?

My buddy was sitting next to me we both ordered in the same state and city here in va, I also used a preferred FFL dealer that’s on file with PSA, contacted them to ensure they were indeed accepting transfers and they were. We both ordered the daily deal AR that was 499.99 on the 16th. His was shipped and mine still says processing. Granted before you say anything I do understand that I’m still in the window. Am I little paranoid? Yes. Because I’ve read some nasty complaints over the last few days of people not getting theor orders and PSA not answering. Am I a little anxious as well? Yes. I’m not afraid to admit that.

If you are in the window then that is exactly what CS would tell you also. No need to be anxious. Just be patient, as hard as that is. PSA does THOUSANDS of orders a day. They build and ship as fast as possible. Until you are outside the time frame window ( in BUSINESS DAYS) then unfortunately your worry is all on yourself.

Edit: and PSA has NEVER taken an order and not shipped.

So they’re building those on order placement?

No, im saying they are building, selling, and shipping as fast as possible based on the number of orders they get.

I’m also wondering if that big event this weekend has something to do with orders as well.

Are the warehouses still working on weekends?

I believe (and i may be wrong) they do indeed have folks working weekends. PSA is under the umbrella of JJE, which owns manufacturing facilities in multiple states, they have multiple warehouses, make 600k uppers a year (according to Jamin, the CEO), over a million bcgs, etc. They have over 1400 employees from what i remember.

Okay. I do know for sure though that my other buddy had his item shipped to the same ffl I used so I don’t see how that could be an issue. They receive a lot products for transfer from PSA

It depends on where in the stack of thousands of orders yours is. I am local to PSA (i have it shipped to a PSA store) and it has been as long as 3 weeks. No big deal to me, i know i will get it.
