Question about two complete pistol lowers

Very unknowledgeable in this so just have a basic question. What’s the difference besides the brace and if it’s just the brace why buy the one with the mft brace over the SBA3? Thanks.

The price when this was in stock was 220

Really just a matter of personal preference. A lot of people prefer the SB for comfort/function, but that battlelink does look cooler.

Somebody more knowledgeable than I is likely to chime in.

I can see personal preference on the brace but the SBA3 is almost triple in cost generally. Pretty sure the mft is like 30-40 bucks. Thus the prices being the same brings up my question. And thanks!

Its a difference in cost and perceived quality.

the SBA3 adjust like a stock would with a normal push button (and more comfortable to shoot)

the MFT uses a set screw to lock into place

Brand makes a difference too.

Like Nike and Puma. Both perform the same function at about the same level of quality. And made by the same children in overseas factories. But the branding decides the cost.

they dont perform the same function, one is adjustable only with a hex wrench

I understand how the braces function and the price difference between them. Which is why I’m asking why they cost the same with two very different braces in price. Either the lowers are different somehow or it doesn’t make sense to me then lol…

its PSA passing on good deals

Hint

Buy the lower with the MUCH better brace at the low price

Im going to attempt to answer the question. in this instance i believe it is pricing the same , or relatively close in price is due to how PSA negotiated for the product that is being sold at such a low price. Sometimes also PSA gets bundles, and that sometimes can mean they get one part at a great price, and another part because that bundled package price was soo good, that it actually was free, or even better such a good deal it would almost be like the other company is paying them to take the part off their h ands along with the other part that they got the deal on to begin with. hopefully you are able to follow me and im not confusing you…

basically its all about the deal that they made when the received the parts to begin with. where we normally think they had to pay a certain price for something just cause we know what the part is charged for everywhere else, doesnt necessarily mean that PSA has that invested in it, and thus the less PSA has invested the better and lower the price

i’ve rambled enough… hope you understand what i was trying to say.

Looks like maybe this thread did something the one with the blade brace is 140 and the sb brace is 220 lol…

lol… sb’s usually are the more expensive… sounds / looks like you cought the blade brace on sale… time to jump
