So, just picked up the above from PSA this week. Hope to put a few rounds through it this weekend. It is the black SR version with the picatinny rail. I love it BUT, the rail is silver. Maybe they were trying to match the trigger/bolt but to me, it sticks out and I would rather it be “part of the gun”.
Can the rail be “blackened”, or would I be better off trying to buy a black rail?

Rufus I think it may be this one. Probably could spray paint it or get a black Ruger optic rail.

I actually like the silver, I’d get the black Ruger rail piece. Rails aren’t easy to rattle can.
Yeah would not be worth changing color to me. A quick search and can replace it with a Ruger OEM black for about 17 bucks. Funny enough silver ones are 15 bucks so maybe several change them out. That is ebay. I am sure you can get it direct from Ruger. Oh and if you register you should get a coupon on Ruger site for 20% off.
