Shooting My PSA build

My little Filipina wife and I went through about 250-300 5.56 rounds with zero issues. It has excellent reliability and good accuracy. We fired a mix of three or four brands of 55 gr and 62 gr ammunition.

The only issue is when you take a spouse out to shoot who enjoys shooting as much as I do, she hogs the gun and always asks for another full mag, lol.

My better half shot a friend’s suppressed AR in 300bo and now I had to build her one of her own.

Let them shoot and they really enjoy it. My lady was ready for another range trip.

Oh it is the wife. I was like bro it is 5.56 stop flinching so much! :joy:

First day on the Army range in 80s the Sergeant takes the M16A1 (pretty sure that was model full auto) and he takes the rifle puts in his crouch and fires it full auto. Just to try and show it was a mild weapon. I would not recommend that with M1A1 haha.

Anyway by that time I had been shooting since I was like 8 so I shoot 39 of 40 targets and only missed that 50m target because I expected another 300m target! :expressionless_face:

I agree, recoil for me albeit not so much for my spouse is a non issue with a 5.56. I fired both the M-16 and the M-14 (along with a AK47) in the military. I also carried and used a CAR-15 in combat.

The 10.5" PSA performs similar to a Colt CAR-15. I like mine so far.
