Showin’ the 320 some Love

I like the FDE and black.

Took about 5 minutes to swap in this flat trigger.

Now to maybe build a Black and Tan :+1:t3:

Have you used one of the tungsten infused polymer grip modules?

Nope

Ive got a 320xc-9-bxr3

i got a wilson combat frame with it to boot in FDE and love it. i’ve often wondered if i’d like a steel frame for the 320… i just havent bought one or even felt one in the hand yet. i assume you love the frame? how does it feel? any shortcomings?

thanks

I like to try to keep my toys looking similar.

I don’t know about a steel frame but the AXG alloy frame I really like. It gives it a little more weight in your hand to help with recoil mitigation and you have a little less muzzle flip.

Cool. good to know. I may end up checking that out too if i decide that i wanna mess with the 320 more. I think i have a photo of it somewhere around here… lemme look…

and here it is in its factory frame. :

I love the 320. I actually prefer the 1st generation over some of the new ones, especially the x carry. I’m so glad the Army switched from the Beretta to Sig. I actually want to own the same pistol I have with the Army now.

I am with you. I hated the M9. I got lucky when the Decommissioned M17 were being offered by Sig. I was able to get two. I was then able to find the consecutive serial numbered M17 TF000097 to my TF000096.

i had a first gen 320 and i hated it. it shot like crap… i couldnt hit the broad side of a target with that damn thing. This one though its got a much better trigger in it and i am much better like it much more.

1911 and i had talked about the ownership of the army 320’s, and i would love to have one too. 1911 has some awesome guns in his collection for sure.

one day i’ll buy a gov’t edition m17 and m18… one day.

Steve as you said awhile back I have a little head start on you building a collection. I can’t tell you how many times over the years that I wished that I had some of the items in people’s collection that I know. No matter how nice your collection becomes you will always have items on your list of things to acquire. I picked up a new acquisition the other day and there were 6 more that I would have loved to have. Unfortunately I couldn’t justify that big of an expenditure all at one time with the holidays right around the corner. I feel your pain because I still say, “maybe one day I will own one”.

This was an impulse buy from a couple of years ago. I didn’t own a 9mm and ammo was cheap. Buy the time I picked up a thousand rounds the prices went Covid.
It is really fun to shoot and accurate as all get out.
I did start loading nines and have bought two more since.

I like the fact that you can change modules if you want, a great option for color changes. I did the coyote color when they came out with the FCU sold as a single, (shown in the top photo). I’m pleased.

That white is really sharp!

Especially with the Talon Grip.

I’ve always seen the white and thought who the hell would want that? :joy:

Maybe I do now :face_with_monocle:

Thanks!! I believe a lot of people dye the white another color but I kept it white because I liked it as well.

well you’re right of course. the key thing i need to remember are 2 things. 1 its not a sprint, its a marathon, and 2, i’m just here as a curator to most of these things to keep them in good kit until the next guy comes and my time is over with them. that’s not to say i wont enjoy them while i have them, but still… ownership is temporary. with all things. with a collection, you’re not an owner really, but more of the curator. lol

Even more so in my case. I may have paid for them but I don’t legally own them. My Trust has full legal ownership of all of them. Hopefully my Trust will retain “owner / conservatorship” for a long time. After me my son will take over.

I like the beaver tail on the 320 just as l.do on the old M&Ps.

Has anyone seen one of these for sale yet? What was the price?
