Stowing your sling/management/keeping it clean

More details?

Magpul adjustable sling. Pull it tight to firearm when not in use, pull the tab for quick deployment. At least that works for me.

I use Proctor slings on my three ar pattern rifles. They are simple, lightweight, and have built in storage.

Now these I like. Simple, light, clean, got everything you need and nothing you don’t, reasonably priced.

Bookmarked. Thank you.

And you if you’re wrong handed like me they stow right where you need them. Out of the way.

Please clarify?

Ahh! “dentoation” = identification! :grinning:

Yeah, I’m lucky that I understand “Gamecock speech.”

I’ll post a picture here in a second, but I use inner tube calamari/thick rubber bands to secure my sling to the left side of the handguard. I use the same lightweight/low profile slings that I gave to some of y’all at the gathering, works very well in this configuration. Just pull, press out and swim into.
It’s not necessarily better or worse than any other method, but it does store very well with essentially little or no additional snag risk compared to the bare rifle.

Guitar Guy’s post hit it on the head.
sometimes i type too fast and my letters get backwards… i apologize for that.

i can see how that would work. thanks again for the sling… yeah that does look good on how it would pull neatly off.
