I want to swap in a 7-8inch 300blk and run a 1.58 diameter Lahar 30 suppressor
I know PSA sells a complete Sabre 300blk suppressor ready 8 inch upper but I unfortunately live in a state that they will not ship it to.
Do your research but IIRC that aero upper can only use aero rails. I may be thinking of one of their other uppers though.
So you’re going to replace the barrel and the handguard? Unless you want to replace the barrel nut as well, you’re going to want to stick with an Aero handguard. Aero makes (made?) good stuff, but if you are replacing that much it will almost certainly be cheaper to get a stripped upper, assuming you can find one that will ship to you. With this one you still need to get a BCG and charging handle.
Yea now I’m thinking a 10 inch 338ARC conversion will be a better use for this upper

Not a bad plan. You have to get a BCG anyway so this way you can get one with a larger ARC bolt face and not waste money with too many parts you don’t need.
