I have a silencer co hybrid 46. What do I need to do to put this on my rifle. Silencer co says I have to send it to rifle dynamics to have new threads cut and barrel checked for center bore. Is this right .
You can get your own alignment rod. I used a CNC warrior thread adapter and ASR brake with my hybrid. The threads would have to be 8 hundredths of an inch off in order to get a baffle strike, think (.46-.30)/2. You’d be able to tell visually if it was that misaligned, but you should always check alignment even with a big bore suppressor.
Thank you for this information. What type or where might I find an alignment rod. I have to say that all My PSA products have been 100% reliable and I found it hard to believe that PSA would make a barrel that far out of concentric center. I am a customer of PSA and have found all of their products to be of the great quality.
Thanks again,
Robert
A Geissele 7.62 rod would be your best bet.
