SWR Slide Question…

Is there any benefit to using the SWR slide over the base model slide as an EDC platform?

Or am I falling victim to marketing hype?

Your probably going to get 100 different answers
In my opinion for EDC it does not matter.

It is 100% personal preference when it comes to slides

EDIT: I love the SW5 slide, I have a SW4 slide hanging out, going to get a Full Size frame shortly. But, if these weren’t available, the regular dagger slide would get the job done.

How much weight reduction do you get with a slide with “windows “ cut …The Dagger is already light … Id like to build a very light 18 oz non optic cut Dagger ?

All assembled Daggers on the website show 22.4 ounces, unloaded. None of the slde assemblies list a weight.

I’ve actually found my plain Dagger slide to be heavier than both my Glock and Brownell’s slides. Didn’t actually weight them, just held in hand. Part of it is the metal guide rod, the rest is, something. Doesn’t bother me though, and is probably part of why the Dagger seems to have less muzzle flip.

I wish there was a picture key to see all the SW choices or distinctions in one place - hard pick from various ones if i can’t see them all together. If so, where is the link.

Does anyone know if PSA will be making anymore SWR Slides. I have been waiting to get a Dagger Complete SWR RMR Slide Assembly in Black with no barrel? It has been Out of Stock for a while now and I am wondering if it is going to come back in stock.

I too would like to know the different weights of the PSA Dagger Slides.
