Is there a perceptible difference in shooting with a slide like this that’s slotted/cut?
I believe it’s more for reducing heat on the barrell. Allowing air to cool it more rapidly.

It’s noticeably lighter holding it compared to a non cut slide.

I like to minimize the amount of debris in my firearm. Are they going to make this slide without the “slots or windows”? If they did, I’d buy a whole mess of them.

I was more particularly talking about the rear sight in front of the RMR cut. Sorry for not being Specific.
Wow you’re right. I checked all of them. I cant believe the only slides with rear sight in front of an RMR cut have slots in the slide. Not a single one has the traditional slide. I swore they had every combination available.
Its the only one I’m actually looking for. Would be using it for EDC. Would still purchase about 10 of them though for custom projects.

huh. I didn’t notice that until now also. When I was making my decision I thought the rear sight in front of the optic was a good idea but I didn’t like it cuz it wasn’t what I was used to. I put optics on mine right away so I only used mine initially to check the sight but after that it’s been the Holosun. I wonder if PSA would be able to add that iron sight choice in the future? It does push back the RMR cut to make room in front, maybe they just can’t deal with that many different slides in the inventory.
