What happened to the daggers with the original slides with no windows and lower iron sights??
I’m pretty sure they phased those out in favor of the optics cuts and suppressor height sights. You wanna buy mine so I can upgrade?! lol

Those have been phased out.
They are now all optic cut.
I had one in my email yesterday for the daily deals I almost bought it , they pop up once in awhile but like savagemic said it looks like they are phased out.
I wish they would bring them back, personally i dont like the high sights and the fancy windows.
thats why i ended up getting the SW4 slide because of how small the windows are…

while they may have phased out all of the slides that arent optic cut, i think they will produce slides that are just like the origionals, with optic cuts only, and not all that other jazz. or at least I hope so… cause i think its a silly thing to get rid of the plain slides… some of us dont like all that gucci crap on our pistols.

Sad because everyone wants optic cuts and threaded barrels. But only a very small fraction of people actually use them. Keep your bells and whistles and give me firearms, not trinkets. Lol

it’s true tho, i know so many people who have pistols with RMRs but they don’t carry them… myself included… i just put a holosun on a 34 to race with but the 34 i have ready for home defense is trijicon three dot nights

the pistols i hav ewith optics i wont carry. the ones with iron sights i do. I’m not a big optic on pistols guy. i prefer them without im finding… and thats ok. I think PSA will have pistols without the optic cut… or if they dont, in the very least they’ll have these pistols slides with block off plates.

All the optic cut ones come with the cover plate. And they do make the non window cut slides, but your options are limited there. A friend recently got a Full Size SX with the RMR cut, no windows on it. Unfortunately the only way to get irons forward of the optic is a window cut slide so that’s what I had to get.
The only downside to having the optic cut ones only is they are a little higher in price vs the original plain slide guns. 380 vs 300 originally. I guess the tall sights too but I never found it to be an issue with target focus both eyes open shooting.

What I wanna know is where the Compact X long slides are???!! Its been like 2 months. I may just order a gen 3 G19L slide & upper parts kit from Brownelles, some Ameriglo $86 sights a Lone Wolf Alphawolf gen 5 G17 threaded barrel, a Grit Grips Compact Dagger magwell for $38 & some G17 gen 5 mags. BOOM! PSA version of the “Glock 49 at Home.”
Top it with a Swampfox Justice or Liberty 2 & GOOD TO GO!
I need another original slide. This rear sight forward optic cut SW1 is driving me crazy. I wish I could trade it off for a regular slide. It was my first dagger and came in a bundle. Did everything to like it but I don’t like it lol. Rear sight drives me nuts and I dont prefer optics so it looks god awful ugly in my book.

is it the one with the rear sights in front of the cut? you only want optics on that cut zero irons
i think i got the same one, i stripped the upper for all of its internals and scrapped the slide… got a few new slides without rmr cuts before they disappeared, and actually used the internals in an entirely different glock build
