I know I’m gonna take a verbal beating, but for real, am I the only one on hear that is tired of the Dagger threads. Every firearms mfg has copied the Glock pistol. PSA finally followed suit. I get it, it’s a great gun for the money, but no one bought a Chevette back in the day and bragged to all their friends about it.
Its not different than when the p80 came out. Its the new hotness, and eventually that will die off a little. On the other hand, you are on the PSA forums and it is a PSA gun…
And what did the Chevette copy?
The automobile, and it did a poor job at best. LOL
Well at least folks could say they had a 'Vette. ![]()
It was the first car I owned. I have every right to pick on the Chevette. And honestly, for a 16yo it wasn’t a terrible car. Back to the Dagger, I hope the excitement wears off soon. PSA has threads for everything imaginable regarding the Dagger. I never found the G19 or 17 all that appealing and now everyone from PSA to Zev to Wilson Combat to Shadow System has their own version. It feels like a repeat of the race to build a better mouse trap and at the end of the race everyone has a mouse trap with their name on it, but they are all the same. ![]()
And yet you created a Dagger thread instead of just ignoring the posts. I’ve found info I needed in those posts regarding the falling mags, holster compatibility, and trigger compatibility. As a non-Dagger owner you don’t care. Should there not be any AR or AK threads because the AR and AK were being made before PSA started selling and manufacturing them?
it’s not leaving the limelight anytime soon… it’s a magic pistol, a very special tool, easy to use out the box. grandparents can afford to buy all their grandchildren one. my favorite is the black and tan with nights no rmr cut
Why do you care? Lol go rant on tiktok
It’s appeal is your getting a whole lot of goodness….,at a bargain price!
What’s not to love?
I’m showing my age here, but during the ‘original’ gas crisis back in the late 70’s - early 80’s, there was a Chevy dealer in Smithfield , R.I., giving a Chevette away with every purchase of a full size Blazer. Depending on options. the whole package topped out around $10-11K. Never saw that ever again.
KIA was doing in here in NW Ohio in the 2012. BOGO.
It doesn’t have that HORRIBLE Glock grip angle. Therefore, it’s better in a very useful way (point and shoot…not, point/reaquire sights, then shoot).
