I currently have 2 Ks47ii uppers, a 10.5 and 16, I only have 1 lower with a JP system etc for the 2 uppers atm. I want to get another lower. Would the VLTOR system be a good choice for the KS47?
The whole tuning of the buffer weight and spring weight is vexing to me.

Update. I installed A5 VLTOR system w/ A5H3 buffer and JP Rifle-length Polished/Centered buffer spring on my 10.5in KS47. Works well and was nice and soft-shooting. The JP polished/centered buffer spring is as quiet as the JP Captured Buffer system.

I built a .224 Valkyrie gun, and used the VLTOR A5 buffer system. Can’t remember which buffer I used, but I do remember I used a Spinco green spring. It’s a nice shooting gun. I certainly don’t feel that a VLTOR A5 is a necessity, but if money and availability aren’t factors that are hindering you from getting the A5 setup, and you want the best buffering setup, I do feel that the VLTOR A5 is the best one out there for guns with an adjustable stock. The best one I know of anyway, but I’m not the biggest expert who keeps up with all the newest innovations in the gun world. If I was building my dream KS47, it would be using a VLTOR A5 setup.
BTW didn’t Magpul or someone else copy the A5 setup and come out with one of their own?

If you ever change springs or something, I was really surprised at how quiet the JP polished/centered spring is in the action, I know for some people its a non-issue but its a nice small upgrade and just as good and much cheaper than getting the JP captured system.
