Weight of the GF series with different furniture? And more

Hi all,

Can someone direct me to where I can find the different weights of the GF-3 and 5 AKs, when they have wood furniture, MOEkov furniture, etc? I’m looking for the lighter variants.

Also, do any of the foldable stocks allow for firing in the closed position?

Lastly, can someone with experience tell me the difference between the GF-3 and the GF-5E, besides the improved barrel?

Thanks, I tried calling PSA for the weights, and was given an automated response and a disconnect.

I dont think they have done weights on furniture. Magpul may publish weights, but polymer will be lighter than the wood.

AK’s can fire from the folded position.

Thanks, for some reason I thought I had read that the Zhukov (and other) side-folders wouldn’t allow firing in closed mode.

They fold to the right and block the trigger.

Thanks for the info. Can you recommend a list of stocks that when folded do allow firing?

Anything that folds to the left.
