What is a good AR lower build Video?

So I may have talked a few people in Colorado into buying PSA stripped lowers (<— more then one) before our states newest gun law goes into effect Aug. 1st.

Some of them have never even thought about building their own lower before this. I HAD a great video on Youtube that I would point new builders to, but YT being YT they seem to have taken it down.

So, any of you have a Lower build Video that is still out there that you think is well done and can help 1st timers through the process? A link with the recommendation would be great. There are a TON out there and I really don’t want to have to watch 15-20 to find a good one if you all know of good ones already. Thanks​:+1:

I’ve preferred the Brownell’s build videos for the past few years. Whenever I’m building or changing anything on an AR15 I’ll look to see if they’ve covered it yet.

When I was getting started a couple years ago I found a bad video and ended up putting locktite on buffer tube, and I didn’t know at that point in time there was different strengths . Red locktite on buffer tube was a big mistake. I put my qd adapter plate on backwards to add to the errors and by the time I realized it was too late. Fun story for anyone getting started or anyone experienced needing a good laugh.

@1911 has a very good Word document here somewhere if you’re like me and still like to use paper.

This is my printable word document with full pictures and explanations at each step. My guide will show you the best order to install your parts so you aren’t having to go back and remove a part because it interferes with installing another part. I like this guide better than videos because you can print it out each time that you build a lower. Use it to check off all of your parts before you start your build and then mark them off as you install the parts on the lower. With a printed guide you have everything you need and you don’t have to rewind or fast foward a video when you miss something or don’t understand a step.
