That’s why PSA wraps each box in plastic. Their shipping costs a bit more but for ammo, it’s worth it. From another supplier I got a box of 300, .22LR in kit form: tape the busted box together, find all the loose bullets, and put them in the box yourself. Fairly simple family project. Time the endeavor for added challenge.
I’m sure that nowadays “how many bullets?” is a common question for scamazon-type customers. Btw, I bought a box of 125 Winchester Valor awhile back and got 127 rounds in the box. For loose, bulk packed bullets, you don’t really know how many you got until you count them.

Bulk loose pack I think sometimes goes by weight with a tolerance so you could end up getting more or less.

Yes I’m sure it’s by weight. Might even be set with tolerance on the heavy side so box has at least stated quantity. We used to count hardware by weight. Who wants to count 437 6mm lock nuts individually? And then count several dozen more bins of similar items. Sucks even more if you’re sober.

How does PSA make money selling an AR15 lower for $119 with free shipping ?
As a consumer, you know you’re going to need one when they’re more expensive.
Plus the rifle stock A2 part used to be about $50. So then the cost of an affordable AR15 rifle stock lower becomes $169 + FFL fees, with an extra adjustable stock to possibly re-sell.

PSA makes everything in house. Top to bottom, you can buy everything you need and with the exception of a magpul stock and grip, all of it is PSA. They cut out the middle man and sell volume.

I use the 2nd amendment foundation on amazon smile. I also am a member of microsoft bing rewards and cash in my points for amazon gift cards. Essentially im giving microsoft money to 2nd amendment foundation.

The NRA quit getting my money several years ago when they didn’t endorse the super conservative person running against Dirty Harry Reid. Reid just happened to donate a bunch of land to the NRA for a nice, modern rifle range near Las Vegas.
