A few months ago we needed a new safe because I had a rifle that didnt fit in the old safe and was leaning on the side of it. We bought a new safe to secure that rifle…
A few days ago I came home and the wife said “how many guns have you bought recently???”
I smirked and said “two…” 
She proceeded to tell me how she left the house for a few hours and tossed her rings in the new safe before leaving the house. She says “there’s 14 guns in that safe… You don’t need to buy anymore… That’s it…”
Well first I assured her I wouldnt buy anymore rifles (just pistols because I cant fit anymore rifles in there) Second I failed to mention she missed a Dagger and two stripped lowers so technically there is 17 guns in there… 
She said she’s not mad but that I never told her that I bought that many. I told her she needs to listen more carefully because I specifically state either
(A). I’m going shooting at the range
Or
(B). I’m going to the range to “pick something up”
I also said sometimes I pick up more than one at a time
Long story short… We need a 3rd safe now…

Good point about the word “addiction.”. I guess the satirical nature of my remarks about firearm hobbies as an addiction weren’t as obvious as I’d hoped.
UPDATE: just for the record, I didn’t mean to trivialize addiction in general. Although I am not intimately familiar with addictions, I have flirted with alcohol abuse enough to know that these demons can creep up on a person. I was merely trying to apply what seems to be liberal logic in a way that might lampoon the hypocrisy. Sorry if anyone was offended. Thanks.

I resemble that remark.
I’v e picked up two Pistols this week from a brand I swore at one point that I would never own for any reason. Yet here they sit.
I also have one in a Caliber I swore never to own. Yet here it sits.
No offense to Brand Taurus or .40S&W fans for the above commentary

The 40S&W will be semi preserved as I’ll be switching it to 9x19mm for Cost and Commonality savings. I’ve swapped others including a Sig P226 in .357Sig to 9mm over the years.
Friday I placed a 101 year old Remington Model 51 in .32ACP on Layaway, as I did Not have a copy of my C&R License in the particular vehicle I was driving that day.
Figures this One Shop that had this , will Not keep a C&R file copy like the others do for me.
I do tend to buy a lot of C&R eledgable weapons when not building AR’s or other Military Rifles.

I have a Taurus GC3 and as much hate as it gets I’ve never had an issue with it. Run well over 1000 rounds and except for crappy reloads, it runs flawlessly.

Ah yes, that would be my guest bathroom gun vault. The main gun room with 50 yard indoor target range, spare parts warehouse, machine shop, and ammo storage is on the third sub-basement level.

Selier & Beliot bullets in the flimsy cardboard packaging will ALWAYS dump at least one box of ammo inside the shipping box.
Just got some 6.8 SPC 110 grain.
Same as the first 6.8 SPC 110 grain I bought 6 years ago - I had a chance to count how many bullets there are in a box of 20 !

I have my first of several orders over the weekend arriving tomorrow. I won a Geissele rail and trigger at Cola War SE back in the spring, looks like they are growing into an 11.3 suppressed SBR. Already had a lower and upper. Still deciding on glass.
