Any idea when we will start seeing AK’s chambered in 300 blk?
Completely guessing here, but I don’t think you will. 300blk ballistically is a really similar round to 7.62x39.
300 blackout krinkovs will be a big hit.
Im waiting
Well then. I stand corrected.
looks like i’ll be wanting another AK here in the future.
Guys…what you’re asking for already exists. It’s 7.62x39. You can buy subs for it too. There’s no reason for 300blk to exist in an ak
True but with ammo shortages. 300 aac is way easier to reload than 7.62
It makes about as much sense as AK guys asking for an AR15 chambered in 5.45x39
AK will just eat the brass, you might as well forget that idea.
Welcome to the forums @Z3N0 ![]()
Well if we go with how long it took PSA to actually get the Krink to the public it should be around 2028-29ish. If it goes the way of the PS5 they will hype it for another two years then “put it on the back burner” to make way for some other projects, while releasing projects developed after their announcement that it’s 95% ready for release. And no I am not being hyperbolic, they announced the Krink in 2020, as a third quarter release, they released it in July of this year.
Look, I love PSA products, but I have come to realize that they make a lot of promises but are short on timely follow through. During that same 2023 ShotShow, they said we should have 7.62x39 Jakl uppers for the KS-47 lowers this year and steel cased ammo by July. We don’t. You learn that the best PSA releases are the ones they don’t announce ahead of time, like the Dagger. If they give you a timeframe they won’t hit it, you’ll get it when you get it.
I guess I missed the PSA krink ![]()
So did I.
Depends on the brass. It’s not easy on the brass but you can get roughly 5 loadings out of roughly 75% of your brass. Many people shoot at ranges that don’t allow for steel cased ammunition. Many of us have TONS of 5.56 brass ready to cut down into 300 BO and can load it much more economically than 7.62x39, not to mention better bullet options.
