Ok can I get some help here which one would you guys pick
Gen 4 ak pistol or the gen 2 ks47 pistol?
I have several ak and ar platforms so going with one over the other isnt going to be a learning issue. Do any of you have one or both? Can you please chime in with any complaints or compliments about them please?
Me personally. The AK pistol. No buffer tube so you can have straight pistol grip or folding brace or collapsible brace etc. You get AK reliability and durability. Besides that and being able to add an optic it would be a Plain Jane no frills pick it up and go bang firearm.
But if you want bells and whistles and cool stuff on it, absolutely go with the KS-47. You will be able to do so much more with it and modify whatever you want like any other AR platform. Changing the upper to other barrel lengths is a huge plus.
Thats my take. I bet most will say the KS-47. But I must admit it’s hard decision. You are familiar with both platforms so I think it will be up to your own personal preference. Of course what you want it for has a big say so as far as which route to go.If it’s
just for a play toy, I think I might even go with the KS. If it needs to save my azz or be able to be tossed around, then AK all day.
Well damnit youre thinking exactly like me haha Im wondering if one is more reliable than the other I guess at this point. The other thing is I actually do not own an ak pistol just rifle variants and have multiple AR pistols but nothing chambered in 7.62 so Im like you kinda leaning towards the AK. Just didnt want to write off the ks47 it looks so bad ■■■.

I want it but they take forever to release stuff. I heard 300bo and 9 are coming before that

Course ya could always go with the AK and the build kit for the KS47 that way ya could get what ya want or seems interesting.

If you can rent/borrow a KS-47 at a range, you might be surprised at how nice it is. It’s so sweet that it has won many hearts. I’ll be selling a couple rifles to get the JAKL in 300 blk, but the KS won’t be one of them.
It does look awesome I still want one but went ahead and ordered the gf4 pistol last night. I’ll get the ks47 next.

Same here. Bought a new safe two months ago. It’s already full… told my wife it’s the same as jewelry, the value only goes up and we can pass it down after we die

Ks47 is magical.
7.62x39 jakl would also be magical if one had patience for it.
I’ve also yet to meet a psak I didn’t like.
