I finally got around to test firing my new rifle. Something is wrong: It is firing two bullets everytime I pull the trigger.
Suspect I may not have assembled the trigger correctly. What do you think?

People will ask for pictures to see. Break the barrel over and take a couple with the hammer forward and back. It’ not easy to get a good picture there though.

If you built it, did you buy a binary trigger? You need a non-binary (not as in Trans 
) trigger, or standard one. Binary fires when you pull, and again when you release it.
Probably have the hammer spring in backwards.

Does it literally fire two rounds per trigger pull, or does it fire one round, and lets go of the trigger, and another goes flying out…

Yep. Not only can you get doubles but also lots of other malfunctions including fail to fire.
Sounds like the disconnector is stuck in the groove on the trigger.
