Will PSA offer different options for shipping?

So, while PSA has said that UPS’s new shipping restrictions have not affected the shipping of their products, it has affected OTHER 2A businesses. This means that when I spend my money on PSA’s fine products, I may be, inadvertently I’m sure, being forced to support a company that I feel is anti-2A.
My question is, would it be possible for PSA to offer some different options when it comes to shipping their products? It’s been stated by PSA they ship 7 trailers of product a day with UPS, so if UPS saw a decline in that amount from people who decided to vote with their wallets, it might cause them to rethink their stance on the 2A.

The whole issue is about the NY lawsuit over 80% parts. It only affects those companies named in the lawsuit, and even then i dont think UPS has stopped with all of them.

UPS has a hub at the Columbia airport about 3 miles from the PSA warehouse/ammo plant. FedEx does not. At this time, PSA is using UPS.

Well, my question was IF they might offer other delivery options, so that customers who may feel that UPS is anti-2A, need not spend their money with them. But your answer brings up some interesting points.
Are you saying that since UPS is only cancelling service with some 2A companies (like Brownells), over 80% parts it’s, okay? Didn’t PSA sell 80% kits in the past? They were repeatedly on their daily emails. Does PSA take no position on the fact that its primary shipper of product has decided to, arbitrarily, cease business with companies in the same industry as PSA?
Or is the reason because UPS is closer, so it’s easier to use them. Is PSA saying convenience is more important than calling out attacks against other 2A businesses?
I realize you are only a moderator on their forum and therefore can’t competently comment (neither of us can, we aren’t privy the info) on official PSA company policy (I don’t mean that as a dig either), but we all know that some PSA top brass do monitor this forum and an official statement on where they stand or if they are willing to at least give their customers the option not support the enemy would be nice.

First, i can competently comment…because as a mod i do indeed talk to PSA employees and their “top brass” regularly, as do the other mods.

I point you to this post from @sean.psa

UPS is NOT actively shunning 2a companies. For the umpteenth time, this is about a lawsuit, and UPS is protecting themselves. No different than PSA not shipping parts or guns to certain states. Its a CYA situation, and once resolved i am sure they will go back to business as usual. PSA also doesnt ONLY use UPS. However, most of their shipments so indeed go UPS due to the location and feasibility of the UPS hub.

To use FedEx or DHL is not feasible logistically. You want more expensive and slower shipping? Because that’s how you get higher and slower shipping.

UPS is simply virtue signaling. They hire anyone with a pulse and a GED. None of the people handling packages are that well versed in gun law that they could tell the difference between what is legal and what isn’t. And even if they could, it would cost the corporation so much in reduced productivity from reviewing packages that it would negatively impact their earnings and shareholders would not be happy.

They don’t xray every package. They cant. Consider that there are dozens of gun distributors, tens of thousands of online gun retailers, and hundreds of thousands of FFL who all ship millions of firearms, parts, and accessories every single day. UPS saying that they can/will discriminate against gun companies is appeasement to the grabbers. That’s all.

That said, I empathize with you OP in you don’t want to put your money in the hands of antigun companies either directly or indirectly.

Yet, it’s inescapable. Our economy is too intertwined. Businesses and corporations are way too big and powerful foranyone to effectively boycott them.

Are we sure this isn’t impacting them? I just received an email from PSA saying my ammo shipment from UPS was cancelled. Doesn’t look like business as usual to me.

My ammo order was just delivered. Reach out to CS.

Send me your order number and I can check and see what the reason was.

Yeah I’ve had ammo delivered recently as well. Never had a problem. But you never know… especially these days.

Order number sent. Thanks for taking a look Sean.

**I did reach out to CS this morning and I didn’t expect an answer yet. Just came here checking to see if there were any issues.
