Zev Trigger in Dagger Issue

I installed a ZEV flat face trigger(Drop-in kit - Trigger + Bar + Sear) in the Dagger frame I picked up last week. I replaced the sear with the PSA one that came with the frame(Hole on the ZEV sear is smaller, probably fits OEM pins, not the PSA roll pin), connector and ZEV connector spring(I thought this might be an issue? I like the force on the ZEV spring)

Something doesn’t feel right - the end of the trigger safety blade is pushing against the frame(See attached image). So the trigger pull feels weird. I checked my gen4 glock and don’t see the aftermarket trigger doing it, there’s a little bit space between the end of the trigger safety blade and the frame.

The red trigger safety is pushing against the frame when it’s cocked. I do feel resistance pressing on the safety blade, before trigger will break

Any suggestion on fixing this? I thought the issue might be the Zev connector spring in the PSA sear? Thanks in advance.

Assuming everything is installed correctly, it just looks like the shoe removed too much take up causing the safety tab to be too close to the frame at rest

is this what trigger should look like when slide is off? I ordered the slide and it’s still on the way.

Thank you for your suggestion

Well yeah. Probably should have led with that information lol. When the slide is on the trigger will be pushed further forward :+1:

Ah, Thanks sir. Yep, I just noticed this on the Gen4 frame. Glad to know it’s probably false alarm. Wouldn’t worry about it until the PSA slide comes. Have a nice night.
