Great product.
Great product. But missing the nut for the pistol grip and cover. Which was black not dark earth. Other than that great product. PSA shipped the missing part out. Still waiting to complete build. Other than that great product. Need to double check, to make sure all items needed to build is in the package.

Can’t beat it
Everything I needed at a great price. I love the combo LPK and stock kit. Heck even in the color I wanted! Only complaint is that I had to do some light sanding on some of the lower pieces because they were a tight fit. But a fair trade off for the amazing price.

Decent Buy
Bought this kit for a "cheap" build I'm doing for my father. Overall it is a decent kit and excellent for the price.

Negatives: -The safety doesn't have a prominent click like some other kits and rifles I've handled. Functions properly though.
-The stock is a bit wobbly but that is Magpuls fault. Grip is an extremely tight fit but that is also Magpuls fault.

Positives: -It did come with a extra detent and detent spring which is amazing since those tend to sprout wings and fly.
-Each group of parts were individually packaged so this makes it super easy to track progress and would be helpful for beginners.
-EPT has ZERO take up is super smooth and functions great. Its way lighter than my LE6920 which has a trigger job and is 7.5lbs.

Complete package
I received this order five days after I ordered it and two of those days was the weekend. I would have to say that is fast shipping. With all the furniture being Magpul I figured that at least those parts would be nice.
So here is what I got.
The six position adjustable buffer tube is very nice and built strong not some thin flimsy aftermarket piece. However it is one of the shorter buffer tubes and would probably not work well for someone with a long length of pull or for a rifle length upper. But it works great for this 16" 300 Blk build because I was wanting it as compact as possible anyway. The hardware for the buffer tube is a nice standard hardware kit and I had no problems installing them. I was putting this on a PSA blem lower and it mounted up perfectly. The bolt release was just your standard issue and worked perfect. As did the saftey. The Magpul pistol grip was very tight and i actually had to hammer it on with a rubber mallet. But once it was on it fit great with no gaps. However the machine bolt/screw that came with it was way to short. This is the third Magpul pistol grip that came with the mounting bolt being way to short. Magpul needs to look into this issue and instead of sending hardware that might fit one or two lowers They need a mounting bolt that will fit all lowers. They are going to end up loosing valuable customers over a five cent bolt.
The mag release was the cheapest looking/feeling piece that came with this kit. It just felt cheap and there were a lot of burrs that I removed then sanded with 1500 grit sandpaper then polished and repainted. Turned out working smooth after that.
I will probably upgrade that part later but for now it is working good. The takedown pins were good and worked good.
The stock is nice it's Magpul what else can you say. However it was very loose and I do not like that at all. I will replace it with a different one for sure.
In my opinion the best part of the whole package was the enhanced polished trigger. I have one of these on all six of my AR builds and this one is definitely the best one. These triggers work great and will give you a very nice trigger if you do just a little bit more to them.
I take Flitz and a good cotton cloth and hand buff the two contact surfaces to a extremely highly polished surface. You can do this with s Dremel tool but there are two problems with that. One is most people apply to much pressure and get the part hot and then it becomes soft and will end up damaged then you have a trigger that's no good. The other issue is the surface that is on the hammer is small and in a very tight place and almost impossible to get into with any of the dremel polishing tools. What happens then is you will apply a lot of pressure to get it to go down in that small area it gets hot and it ends up overheated and makes the metal soft. If you do this by hand both problems are solved and you have a very good trigger in the end.
I keep the Wolff reduced trigger spring and the reduced connector spring in stock because they are very inexpensive. I replace the stock springs with the Wolff springs. I also bend the hammer spring at a certain point that reduces the weight on the trigger but still strong to make sure you get a good primer strike.
You end up with a 4 to 4.5lb trigger with hardly no take up and very short reset for very little money.
Overall if your looking for a average lower kit with Magpul furniture and what can be a great trigger then this kit is a good deal.
