Features
This AAC Blackout muzzle brake delivers strong recoil reduction to support faster shot‑to‑shot recovery and improved control. Machined from high‑strength 17‑4 stainless steel and finished in AAC’s corrosion‑resistant SCARmor coating, it provides long‑term durability for demanding use. This model features the updated 90‑Tooth interface, designed to pair with AAC ratchet taper‑mount suppressors for a more secure and reliable attachment. The 90T gear engages a spring‑biased ratchet lever on compatible silencers, preventing unthreading under recoil, while the refined ACME thread and optimized taper create a tight, stable locking surface inside the suppressor. Engineered as a modern upgrade over earlier 18‑Tooth and 51‑Tooth systems, it is not compatible with those legacy mounts. Installation requires a torque wrench and should be tightened to approximately 20–30 ft‑lbs to ensure proper alignment and performance.
