Featuring the Aero taper lock attachment system, they offer a strong and stable mounting platform while retaining a slim, sleek profile. This system includes two tapered locking nuts that evenly distribute clamping force across a custom barrel nut, secured with a turnbuckle screw for added strength. A ratcheting detent ensures the system stays secure during installation, providing reliable positive registration. The even pressure from the Aero taper lock system helps prevent distortion often seen in other handguard mounting designs. With all mounting hardware included, the S-ONE handguards are designed to fit M4E1 threaded upper receivers and mil-spec AR-15 uppers, though they may not be compatible with billet receivers due to indexing tabs.
