The R-ONE handguards are precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, specifically designed to offer a lightweight and compact solution for your build. Equipped with the proprietary Aero taper lock attachment system, these handguards maintain a sleek, slim profile while delivering the exceptional strength and stability that Aero Precision is known for. The Aero taper lock system features two mirrored tapered locking nuts that ensure even clamping pressure across the barrel nut, enhanced by a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent provides a secure fit and ensures proper alignment during installation. This even clamping pressure prevents handguard distortion typically seen with other systems. All mounting hardware is included with your R-ONE handguard, which is designed to seamlessly integrate with our M5 (.308) threaded upper receivers. Note, however, that they may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs.
