The AGM python stands as an uncooled, long-wave infrared thermal imaging weapon sight engineered for uninterrupted 24 hr operation, eliminating the need for removal from the rifle. Crafted from high-grade aircraft aluminum alloy, the housing embodies both lightweight design and robustness, capable of withstanding high recoil forces. Its waterproof construction ensures exceptional performance in challenging environmental and weather conditions. The AGM python presents a range of customizations, offering users the choice of various germanium objective lenses (25 mm, 50mm or 75 mm) and FLIR Tau 2 detector types (336x256 or 640x512). This adaptability empowers operators to optimize performance for their specific tasks. With an intuitive user interface, ergonomic buttons and a wireless remote control, the python is user-friendly and easily deployable. It offers a plethora of features for customization, including various color palettes, reticle patterns, adjustable image brightness and contrast, an internal menu and digital zoom. Optional enhancements such as a WiFi module, external video recorder or monitor further extend the Pythons functionality. For extended missions, the device can be connected to a commercially available battery pack via the micro-USB port, significantly prolonging operational uptime.
