Features

American Precision Arms is thrilled to announce the launch of the Generation 3 Little Bastard. This release represents a significant milestone in our journey, driven by our unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in response to the demands of the Long-Range and Hunting markets. The development of the APA Gen 3 Little Bastard reflects our dedication to pushing boundaries and enhancing shooting performance. We've integrated high-performance standards with distinctive design enhancements that cater to both range and field environments, where precision is paramount. At the core of the Generation 3 Little Bastard are key features inspired by feedback from the elite long-range precision rifle community. The Unique Recoil Profile tunable top port design allows shooters to finely adjust muzzle movement for precise target retention. Our new lock nut design ensures a stable, non-rotating platform, enhancing control during shooting. Additionally, the fourth Bastard port section effectively reduces recoil, mitigating muzzle rise and lateral movement to accommodate varying shooting conditions. Central to the design is the U.R.P. Adjustable Gas System, strategically placing ports adjacent to internal pressure points for optimal directional control. Combined with our trademark APA ports, this system minimizes sight picture disturbance to unprecedented levels. With 8 directional gas ports offering 256 tuning combinations, shooters can tailor the brake to their Unique Recoil Profile (U.R.P.), ensuring consistent performance. To calibrate the brake to your U.R.P., start with all gas screws installed and observe reticle movement. Adjust by selectively removing gas screws: removing screws on the right shifts the rifle left and vice versa. Ports closer to the nut exert more influence than those near the brake crown. Once you find your optimal combination, secure with Threadtite for reliable performance. Experience the pinnacle of precision shooting with the APA Generation 3 Little Bastard, engineered to exceed expectations and deliver unparalleled performance in every shot.
